A Brief History...

Big Bird Sports (UK) Ltd was founded over a decade ago to fill the niche in the sports industry for a truly independent supplier of quality give aways and retail souvenir merchandise. Our Managing Director, Joan Robinson, and her then business partner fondly referred to each other as "Les Grandes Oiseaux" or "The Big Birds" of the industry and hence a company with a truly unique name was born. Since we hatched in 1995, we have grown to supply over 100 top teams in every imaginable sport - football, rugby (both league & union), cricket etc. We also supply a number of FTSE 100 companies and have associations with companies ranging from House Builders to Architectural Iron Mongers.

Company Overview...

As a different type of supplier, we do not invest thousands of pounds a year on catalogues - that way we can save you money! This web site is our only foray into "global marketing". This allows us to offer what we believe is a unique service to our clients in the way we supply our products. We match products to your own quantity and budgetary requirements enabling you never to be disappointed by not being able to buy what you want within your budget. Within a couple of common sense parameters, we promise to design and supply a truly unique product to meet your requirements.

Our Promises to You...

1. We will NEVER ask you to spend hours trawling through this website - let us know how many items you want and what you want to spend per item and WE WILL DO IT FOR YOU.

2. What you see is what you pay - our formal quotations include EVERYTHING you would normally expect to pay extra for: origination, printing/engraving, packaging and delivery. The ONLY thing we don’t include is VAT.

3. We will NEVER accept a job we cannot deliver on - we would sooner say sorry for not being able to help than sorry for not delivering.

4. We will ALWAYS deliver to your required dates - as long as you are sensible in your expectations then we will ensure you get what you want, when you want it.

5. No job is too big or too small - whether you need 10 silver hip flasks or 1,000,000 recycled paper bags (yes, we've even done that) we will be happy to quote to supply.

Now, About Us...

Joan Robinson

Founder & Owner Joan is Managing Director and is the driving force behind the company. With over 15-years experience in the promotions industry and a lifetime love of football, Joan brings experience, passion & drive to the company.

Matthew Robinson

As our Group Sales Manager, Matthew is a salesman, marketeer, IT whiz and wannabee designer. Matt (as he prefers to be called) is your primary sales point of contact. Working out of our satellite office, he is on hand for sales enquiries and artwork queries.

Lucy Swaby

As the Office Manager, Lucy is responsible for order processing, administration and keeping Matthew, Joan & Julia in line. She also works out of our satellite office and is the primary point of contact for anything non-sales related.

Julia Mead

Our hyper-efficient administrator, Julia is here to support Lucy. Julia is the one who will chase you for money and deal with most of your accounts queries.
